Classic Elegance Meets Bay Area Energy: A Silver Creek Valley Country Club Wedding
When you combine a sophisticated country club aesthetic with an unforgettable, high-energy dance floor, you get absolute wedding magic. We had the pleasure of planning and designing A & J’s spectacular wedding at Silver Creek Valley Country Club in San Jose, and it was the perfect blend of timeless design, meaningful cultural traditions, and a quintessential Bay Area party vibe.
A Timeless Green & White Wedding Aesthetic
For the design, we leaned into a classic and timeless color palette of green and white. This clean, organic aesthetic perfectly complemented the elegant country club vibe without distracting from the natural beauty of the surroundings.
The outdoor ceremony space was breathtaking, featuring pristine white floral arrangements elevated on sleek, white pedestals set against the venue's lush, sun-drenched hills. We wanted folks to appreciate San Jose in this way - with beautiful views, complete with rolling golf course greens, a tranquil lake, and a striking rock waterfall.
We brought this stunning landscape indoors for the reception. The dining room's expansive floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly framed the waterfall and hills, serving as a breathtaking, naturally lit backdrop for the couple's lush, floral-adorned sweetheart table.
Meaningful Cultural Traditions
Before the main event, we helped the couple honor their heritage by organizing an intimate and beautiful Vietnamese/Chinese tea ceremony. To carry that cultural homage into the reception, guests were served a delicious selection of classic Chinese appetizers during cocktail hour. It was a wonderful way to respect their family traditions.
The Ultimate Bay Area Party Vibe
While the visual design was deeply elegant and refined, the reception itself was a massive celebration! The couple brought that typical Bay Area "hyphy" energy to the night. The bridal party set the tone immediately, hitting the floor in sunglasses, custom cardboard cutouts of the couple, and hyping up the crowd. The music was absolutely on point, featuring an incredible mix of R&B, rap, and classic Bay Area hyphy anthems. The dance floor was packed and electric all night long, with guests letting loose and creating wild and fun memories under the venue's elegant chandeliers. And, guests enjoyed some amazing ice cream, desserts, and late-night ramen.
We are so thankful for our year-long journey with A & J and for their partnership throughout the entire process! It was truly such a sweet day celebrating with these two and their friends and family!
